The Economic and geographic barriers typical in rural regions result in fewer job opportunities and greater challenges for those moving from welfare to work. The Rural Law Center has been instrumental in the concept and implementation of model entrepreneurial programs. In addition, the Center provides legal support for several organizations engaged in micro-enterprise development and service sector training programs, as well as direct assistance to individuals interested in setting up businesses.
